Yesterday was unusually quiet at my house.
Piper and Cohen finished their schoolwork early so they could go on a "fun day" with Chad (not exactly the big school day I had planned, but that's the advantage of homeschooling, right?). Piper and Chad usually go alone but this time Piper invited Cohen which thrilled him. Chad took them to A.C. Moore to get a microscope that Piper had been saving for, then to IHOP for lunch. They finished the day at the theater watching How to Train Your Dragon.
It was so quiet around the house with just Abe to occupy my time. He took a good, long nap as did I and then we headed outside to feed the animals and ride the 4-wheeler through the trails. It had rained so much that the trail was flooded in numerous places and Abe would scream, "Puddle, puddle!" everytime we drove through one.
Swim team was cancelled, so we all chilled at home. There cannot be too many family nights at home!
